Park several villages namely Kausani and Chaukori, not too far from Bageshwar, that define as vistas falling right into the Himalayas along with an experience of village living.

One of the most memorable things one can do when visiting Bageshwar is meeting the local people. The Kumai culture here is warm, and welcoming of such events happening in particular. When we talk about "Best time to visit Bageshwar," that would really depend on what you are coming to do. If it's trekking or other outdoor activities, the best months would be March-June and September-November. This is due to the wonderful weather that happened during that time, coupled with mostly clear skies for mountain views. The popular months for winter, December through February, are cold but present the possibility of seeing snow in nearby areas. Those interested in local festivals should aim at Makar Sankranti in January when planning an itinerary to Bageshwar.
