1

Solang Meadow

I reached by afternoon. The air felt cold and fresh. Snow was still there in patches. I just walked around the open ground without doing any activity. Had tea from a small stall. It was too sweet but perfect in that weather. I slept early that night. Mountain air makes you tired in a good way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Recently Asked Questions

Snowfall depends on weather, honestly. When I visited in late January, snow was fresh and thick. A friend went in March and barely saw any. Better to check local updates one day before you go.

In peak winter, yes it helps. I saw long lines for paragliding during a weekend. On normal days you can book on the spot. Just reach early so you are not waiting around in the cold.

There are small stalls and a few cafes near the main ground. Nothing fancy. I had tea and maggi from a roadside place and it tasted great in that cold air. Do not expect luxury dining there.
