Where is Ambarnath?

• Train: Central Line (the train towards Badlapur or Karjat) stops at Ambarnath station.

• Bus: MSRTC and private buses constantly halt at Ambarnath.

The Famous Ambarnath Temple – A 1000-Year-Old Wonder

The temple most famous in Ambarnath is Shiv Mandir, or Ambreshwar Mandir. This temple is amongst the oldest in Maharashtra, built sometime around 1060 AD.
