DAY 1

Day 1Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/Transfer to Phuentsholing

The distance between NJP/Bagdora Airport (IXB) and Phuentsholing is 170 km and will be covered in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet with smiling faces and transfer to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan by road from India.
Upon reaching Phuentsholing, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Visit Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang in the evening by walking.

DAY 2

Day 2Phuentsholing - Thimphu

The distance between Phuentsholing and Thimphu is 175 km and would be covered in approximately 6 hours.
After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the capital city of Bhutan. Upon reaching Thimphu, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Phuentsholing Sightseeing:
1. Crocodile Zoo
2. Kharpandi Monastery, etc.

DAY 3

Day 3Sightseeing in Thimphu

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get picked up from the hotel, tentatively at 8:30 AM, for local sightseeing as listed below.
After completing all the sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Thimphu.

DAY 4

Day 4Thimphu - Transfer to Paro - Sightseeing

The distance between Thimphu and Paro is 60 km and would be covered in approximately 2 hours.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get picked up from the hotel, tentatively at 8:30 AM, for local sightseeing as listed below.
After completing all the sightseeing, you will transfer to Paro.
Upon reaching Paro, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure.
Overnight stay in Paro.

DAY 5

Day 5Paro Tiger Nest - Transfer to Phuentsholing

The distance between Paro and Phuentsholing is 165 km and would be covered in approximately 5 hours.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get picked up from the hotel, tentatively at 8:30 AM, for the hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger?s Nest) as detailed below.
After completing the hike, you will transfer to Phuentsholing.
Upon reaching Phuentsholing, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the night at leisure.
Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest):
It is one of the most famous monasteries in Bhutan, perched on the side of a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley floor.
It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery, hence it is called "Tiger's Nest".
This site has been recognized as a sacred place and was visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646, and is now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime.
On April 19, 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of the building, but now this Bhutanese jewel has been restored to its original splendor.
Guests will have ponies available for hire to trek to this monastery.

DAY 6

Day 6Departure

The distance between Phuentsholing and NJP/Bagdogra Airport (IXB) is 160 km and will be covered in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get picked up from the hotel for your transfer to NJP/Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
Return to India with cherished memories and an increase in your personal happiness.

All permit fees and hotel taxes (as per itinerary, currency exchange). Pick up and drop off services. Rates are valid for Indian nationals only. Included: Breakfast and dinner at every hotel. Daily usage of mineral water during sightseeing. One tourist SIM card. Private cab for 6 days. SDF fee included for 5 nights. Travel insurance.

Exclusions

Airfare or train fare. Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips and gratuity, mineral water, soft and hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, and porterage. Additional sightseeing or extra usage of the vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary. Entrance fees. Any costs arising due to natural calamities such as landslides, road blockages, political disturbances (strikes), etc. (to be borne by the client, payable on the spot). Any increase in taxes or fuel prices, leading to an increase in costs for surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
