DAY 2

Day 3 : Rafting Begins | Padum to ZanglaToday, the real adventure begins. After gearing up and a final briefing, you step into the raft and enter the mighty Zanskar River for the first time.The initial stretch allows you to understand the rhythm of the river paddling through wide valleys and gradually entering deeper canyon sections. Towering rock walls rise around you, and the sense of scale becomes surreal.After 5–6 hours on the water, you reach your riverside campsite near Zangla. The evening slows down setting up camp, sharing stories, enjoying a BBQ dinner, and lying under a sky full of stars with no city lights around.

DAY 4

Day 4 : Zangla to Neyrak | Into the Heart of the CanyonAs you continue downstream, the landscape becomes more dramatic. The river carves its way through deeper gorges, with massive canyon walls surrounding you on both sides.This stretch is less about speed and more about immersion the silence, the scale, and the untouched beauty of the Himalayas. Day 6 : Final Stretch to Sangam | Return to LehThe final day on the river begins with a mix of excitement and nostalgia.The rapids return with energy Class III & IV sections giving you one last rush before the journey ends.As you pass through Chilling village and approach Sangam, the landscape opens up, and you witness the powerful confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers a moment that marks the completion of the expedition.From here, you drive back to Leh, returning to comfort but with a completely different perspective than when you arrived.
