Arrival + Kamakhya Temple
Morning/Afternoon:
Arrive in Guwahati (by train/flight).
Check-in at your hotel near Kamakhya Temple or in central Guwahati.
Afternoon:
Visit Kamakhya Temple (try to go between 2–4 PM, crowd is less compared to morning).
Explore Nilachal Hill viewpoints and nearby Bhuvaneswari Temple.
Evening:
Go for a Brahmaputra River Sunset Cruise (near Fancy Bazaar/Machkhowa).
Dinner at a local Assamese cuisine restaurant (Paradise, Delicacy, or Heritage Khorikaa).

🗓️ Day 2: Temples + City + Nature
Morning:
Breakfast, then visit Umananda Temple on Peacock Island (boat ride from Uzan Bazaar Ghat).
Head to Navagraha Temple (hilltop, great views).
Afternoon:
Explore Assam State Zoo & Botanical Garden or Assam State Museum (depending on interest).
Lunch nearby.
Evening:
Visit Basistha Ashram (peaceful forest/stream temple on the outskirts).

Early Morning (optional):
Go to Sukreswar Temple for sunrise view over Brahmaputra.
Morning:

Explore Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra (cultural center showcasing Assamese heritage).
Afternoon:
Lunch, pack up, check out.
If time permits, quick visit to Pandu Port / Riverfront before departure.
